BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A group of local military recruits will soon be on their way to serve their country, and they'll be escorted off by a group of dedicated veterans who have a special way of saying, "thank you."
The Kern County Armed Forces Support Riders will be escorting a group of military recruits on Sunday morning as they head off to service.
The recruits will also be visited by Kelsea Holloway, a young Bakersfield resident who raised $400 for the Honor Flight program through her own lemonade stand.
