Bakersfield woman drives into building, arrested for driving under the influence

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -  

A woman was arrested for driving under the influence Friday night in Bakersfield.

On Jan. 18, at about 11 p.m., officers of the Bakersfield Police Department went to Rosedale Highway regarding a vehicle that collided with a building.

Officers found that 25-year-old Janel Magdalen Nuno, had driven her 2000 Ford Mustang through the parking lot of the  convenience store and drove into the building causing damage.

No one was injured.  Nuno was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol

The Bakersfield Police Department would like to remind everyone of the dangers of impaired driving. If you drink; designate a sober, licensed driver.  If you see a driver you suspect may be impaired, call 911.
