BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
A woman is recovering from a gun shot wound on Tuesday, according to officials.
On Monday, Feb. 25, at about 7:30 p.m., officers with the Bakersfield Police Department went to Chester W. Nimitz regarding a shooting.
When officers arrived they said they found a woman suffering from a single gunshot wound.
According to police,the woman’s injuries were not life threatening.
The investigation is ongoing.
