Authorities say the two teens first shot Freitas, then they killed her mother in the basement. As the teens attempted to leave the house, they shot her father in the garage, shooting him twice in the back.
"What I heard from a neighbor who saw a car pull up into the house and 20 minutes later that car and the homeowners car went down the road,” said neighbor Robert Bushman.
The suspects admitted to investigators they stole the guns used in the triple murder from a local gun store.
Investigators also say the vigilance of neighbors in the area played a huge role in capturing the suspects.
