BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A balloon launch will be held Sunday at Beach Park in support of Proposition 36.
Supporters will be releasing balloons and flyers to encourage voters to cast 'yes' on their ballots for Prop. 36.
The organizers of the event say that the passing of this proposition will not only save lots of money, but it would save many lives.
The event starts at 3:15 p.m. at 3400 21st Street.
