BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The man accused of hitting a PCL Industries employee over the head with a socket wrench was due in court Wednesday.
Michael Atkison was scheduled to be arraigned on a felony charge of assault with a deadly weapon for his alleged attack earlier this month on Bobby Fitts.
Atkison was a no-show and a bench warrant was issued for his arrest.
It was reported that he may have appeared at the wrong courthouse.
Atkison was also in violation of probation for two incidents last year.
