BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Local students will show-off their robotic projects in the Bay Area tomorrow.

About 20 students from Bakersfield High School will travel to San Francisco for the Bay Area Science Festival on Saturday.

The students will demonstrate a few of their robotics projects to younger students at Discovery Days.

Most of the students have two years of engineering class experience through Project Lead the Way, an education non-profit that provides engineering curriculum to middle and high schools.

The robotics projects include remote-controlled cars that the students built themselves.

A video on Chevron's website of Bakersfield High School students show how the projects turned out.

The event will be held from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at San Francisco's AT&T Park.
