BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
Large numbers of bees are dying and some experts are worried.
Even in this high tech age its bees that do the pollinating needed to grow crops.
So what is killing the bees?
Experts disagree but some are quick to blame pesticides.
Steve Maniaci with the Kern County Farm Bureau says the use of pesticides in commercial farming is very controlled.
Maniaci says much of the experts who are sounding the alarm may be speaking without all the facts and the die-offs may just be nature doing its job.
