Two-thousand people filled the stands last night in a sold-out game last night as the Blaze beat the Stockton Ports 8-4 making it their third straight win.

Tonight the club will try to make a fourth straight at the ballpark's very last fireworks show.

Earlier this week Minor League Baseball announced the Blaze will be ending their seventy-five season at Sam Lynn Ballpark.

This weekend is your last chance to see the blaze at home as they take on the Ports again, tonight and tomorrow night.

During tonight’s game fans will have the chance to bid on special police-themed jerseys that players will be wearing.

All proceeds will go to the David Nelson Scholarship Foundation.

While fans will be excited to see the traditional show, there will no doubt be a somber tone throughout the park.

Baseball has had a long history in Bakersfield and many fans are sad to see it go.

Gates open at 6:15pm and the first pitch is at 7:15p.

The game is once again expected to sell out so make sure to get your tickets in advance on the Blaze website.
