Blood, bone marrow drive for Bakersfield baby diagnosed with type of Leukemia

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A blood and bone marrow drive is being held to help out a local baby today.
From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., the new Houchin Blood Bank on Bolthouse Drive will be accepting donations for eleven-month-old Jayce.
The baby suffers from a chromosomal defect and was recently diagnosed with a type of Leukemia.
He's in need of a bone marrow transplant and ongoing blood transfusions.
Lunch will be provided from 11 to 1 p.m. for donors and dinner will be served from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
