BMW car was ruined in a Bakersfield garage fire

Officials: No injuries, still investigating

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A BMW was completely torched in a garage fire at a Bakersfield home Friday morning.

Firefighters from the Bakersfield Fire Department, with help from some officers from the Kern County Fire Department, went to Elm Street regarding a garage fire.

Fire officials said they were made aware of the fire after several 911 calls were received regarding the flames.

Officials said no one was inside the home at the time.  They are still investigating how the fire started.
