Supervisors also discussed loaning KMC more money following their budget shortfalls.
KMC Chief Financial Officer Sandra Martin asked Supervisors to increase the original loan amount from $101 million to $113 million.
The loan would help cover the money KMC owes to the state and California Department of Health Care Services.
That money will come from the county's general fund.
