BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department said an elderly man returned home Wednesday after he had been reported missing.
Francisco Argueta, 76, of Bakersfield was last seen leaving his residence on Tuesday, April 1 at 11 a.m. in the 4600 block of Panorama Drive.
Argueta left in a white 2003 Chevrolet truck with California license plate 7A32007, Sergeant Joe Grubbs said.
Argueta said his truck broke down in Bakersfield on April 1, 2014, so he spent the night in his vehicle until two unidentified good Samaritans helped him get it started on April 2, 2014, and he was able to return home.
Anyone with information regarding Argueta's whereabouts is encouraged to call the Bakersfield Police Department at (661) 327-7111.
