BPD looking for suspects in Citizen Bank robbery

Two men fled scene with undiscolsed amount of cash

The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community's help in identifying two suspects wanted for a bank robbery.

On April 16th, at about 2 p.m., the thieves entered the Citizen Bank on Ming Avenue at The Marketplace and demanded money.

They fled with an undisclosed amount of currency but police were able to follow a GPS tracker in the cash to an area on Stockdale Highway.

Police searched for the suspects but no arrests have been made and no one was injured.

The suspects are described as Hispanic males in their early 20's, 5'4" tall, 160 pounds, with medium builds and brown eyes.

One was wearing a red bandana on his face, a black hoodie, black shorts, and black and white shoes.

The other suspect had on a blue bandana and black hoodie.
