BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the community for help in obtaining any information related to an assault with a firearm.
On Monday at 2:35 a.m. officers of the Bakersfield Police Department responded to the 1000 block of Q Street regarding a victim of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a man suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
The victim was taken by ambulance to a local area hospital where he is being treated for his injuries.
The man said he was shot by an occupant of a vehicle described as a black four-door Honda.
