BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - On July 28 at 7:14 p.m., Bakersfield police officers were dispatched to the Circle K store located at 5600 Auburn Street regarding a burglary that had taken place.
When officers arrived they learned that two suspects had stolen several cases of cigarettes valued at approximately $3,000.
On July 30 around 6 p.m., officers were dispatched to an apartment located in the 4000 block of O Street regarding a citizen reporting that the suspects who committed the burglary on Auburn Street were at that location.
Officers arrived and found 25-year-old Royce Robinson and began investigating. Officers said they found probable cause to arrest Robinson for burglary, conspiracy and possession of stolen property.
Robinson was booked into the Kern County Jail.
Investigation into numerous other similar offenses and the identification of the remaining suspects is ongoing.
