BPD: Man tried stealing wallet from person in Carl's Jr. drive-thru

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the community for help in finding a man wanted for attempted robbery.

On July 24 at 1:30 p.m. police said the man approached the victim in the drive-thru at the Carl's Jr. on Stockdale Highway.

Police said the suspect demanded the victim's wallet and attacked the victim. The victim refused to give the man his wallet and the suspect fled in an older model black, four-door compact sedan that might be a Toyota.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic male in his 20's, 5'6" to 5'11" and 150 to 160 pounds.
