BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the community for help in locating Christopher Earl Pettenger who they say is a sex offender who failed to check in with his parole agent after he was released from the Kern County Jail.
Pettenger, 34, is described as a white male, 5'8" and 170 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.
Pettenger is wanted for violation of his parole.
