BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Bakersfield Police officers responded to the 600 block of V Street regarding a call of shots fired.
Prior to arriving, officers were advised of a victim of a shooting.
Officers got to the scene and located a 16-year-old and 18-year-old male juveniles who were both suffering from gunshot wounds.
The 18-year-old victim was identified as Angelo Ramos of Bakersfield.
Both teens were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries.
The unidentified suspects fled in a maroon four-door vehicle.
Officers say it is still unknown if the shooting is gang related, and the investigation is ongoing.
