BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Whether you're a past or present bride, you can help make another brides' dreams come true.
Brides Against Breast Cancer sells thousands of dresses in order to make another brides's special day come true, and the proceeds from each dress go toward providing free support programs and services for women diagnosed with cancer.
Past brides can help by donating their gently used dressed or accessories.
The non-profit is hoping to collect $5,000 dresses this year to provide 40,000 hours of free cancer services for those who need it.
If you're looking for that perfect dress, the Brides Against Breast Cancer wedding dress sale is taking place from 11:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 20.
The event will be taking place inside the ballroom at the Four Point Sheraton Hotel on 5101 California Avenue. The dresses range from $99 to $4,000, but the average price for many of them is only $600.
Dresses from sizes four to eight will be available, and this is the only time of the year Brides Against Breast Cancer come out to Bakersfield. If you'd like to volunteer today, click here .
