Buffalo Wild Wings began its October fundraiser to support sports programs at Boys & Girls Clubs through job shadowing.

On Thursday at the Buffalo Wild Wings in Northwest Bakersfield, teen club members from a local Boys & Girls club were on hand to assist with the in-restaurant fundraiser as well as job shadow.

Job shadowing included greeting customers, assisting with seating guests and helping wait on tables.

Guests were invited to donate along with their check. Donations went toward the ALL STARS national program, which provides grants, uniforms, equipment, training and resources for all Boys & Girls Clubs.

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Kern County in 2018 was awarded a $10,000 Buffalo Wild Wings ALL STARS grant to underwrite sports programming at local Boys & Girls Clubs.

There will be two more fundraiser events this month.

  • Wednesday, October 24 at the Buffalo Wild WIngs on 3316 Coffee Road
  • Friday, October 26 at the Buffalo Wild Wings on 5677 Gosford Road
