Burglary suspects are in custody after chase in California City, suspects identified

(UPDATE: August 14, 2018 4:00 p.m.) The suspects have been identified as 23-year-old Cody Franklin Roley and 24-year-old Danielle Deleon.

According to police, Riley was arrested after the car got stuck in a wash north of Mendiburu Road. He fled on foot but was captured a short distance away.

According to police, Riley had outstanding warrants from both Kern and Los Angeles County where he was wanted for vehicle theft, resisting arrest, possession of stolen property and drug related charges.

Police said that Deleon had prior arrests for vehicle theft.

Burglary suspects are in custody after a chase according to Cal City Police. Police were investigating a theft on Conklin Avenue, North Loop that occurred at around 2:30 this afternoon. 

According to police, the car was spotted and police attempted to stop the vehicle near the Cal City Airport before the suspects fled and lead officers on a nearly 40 minute pursuit through Cal City.
