A memorial fund has been established for fallen CHP Motor Officer Kirk A. Griess.
The fund has been established by CAHP Credit Union. One hundred percent of donations will go directly to Officer Griess' family.
Officer Griess was killed in the line of duty on August 10, 2018.
Griess was a 19-year veteran of the CHP and had worked at the CHP Solano Office for the past 16 years. He was a Marine Corps veteran and is survived by his wife, two daughters, ages 25 and 21, and a 14-year-old son.
