Calif. Dept. of Corrections need help locating parolee, sex offender who is known for molesting kids

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. -
The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation is asking the public’s assistance in locating Douglas Horton.
Horton is a parolee at large and registered sex offender. He is on parole for reckless evading of a peace officer. He has a prior conviction for annoying or molesting children.
He was released from the Lerdo Detention Facility and removed his GPS monitor on March 25th. A warrant was issued for his arrest on March 25th, 2013.
If anyone has information on his whereabouts, they are asked to call the Bakersfield parole office at 661-634-9620, the Kern County Sheriff’s Office at 661-861-3110, or Secret Witness at 661-322-4040.
