TEHACHAPI, Calif. - California vineyards are having a record breaking year.
State officials say the total wine grapes harvest in 2013 was a record breaker. It was up 7 percent from the previous record.
In Tehachapi Souza family vineyards is doing very well.
They also saw a a record breaking harvest last year. Bob Souza who owns the vineyard says last year was good and this year should be good again but he is worried about future years because of the lack of water.
Because of the delay in wine grapes, growers won't see the full impact of the drought until next year.
