A car that rolled off of a cliff near Hart Park in Bakersfield, Sunday, may have been caused by a drunken driver, according to California Highway Patrol officers.
CHP officers said the car was driving eastbound on Round Mountain Road just after 7 p.m.
Shortly after, officers believe that the car drove off the road and into a ditch right next to the Kern River.
People across the river from Hart Park were able to see the accident.
Luckily the car, which was carrying two men and one woman, did not make it into the water.
Officer said the woman is now behind bar, after failing a DUI test.
No word on the names of the passengers or driver.
CHP continues to investigate this accident.
