CHP: Bakersfield kid injured after head hits school bus window

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A child is reportedly suffering from a minor injury after he hit his head on a school bus window today.

On April 30, at about 2:30 p.m., officers with the California Highway Patrol went to the area near 17th and Pine Street regarding a school bus incident.

According to CHP officials, a school bus was turning a corner of a street when the child's head hit the window.  The window reportedly broke after the hit.

The child was released on scene.
