SACRAMENTO - The California Highway Patrol is looking for new troopers.
The CHP is accepting applications for officer positions throughout the state.
Applications will only be accepted online during a four-day period beginning 8 a.m. July 7, through 5 p.m. July 10.
This is the first time this year the CHP has accepted applications.
Applicants must bee 20 to 35 years old, a U.S. citizen, have no felony convictions and be a high school graduate.
There will be physical ability test, background test, medical evaluation and psychological exam.
