BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Due to a hazardous spill, Highway 99 northbound ramp  to eastbound Highway 58 was closed for several hours, according to officials.

On Friday, Feb. 8,  at around 7 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said about  275 gallons of antifreeze had spilled onto the roadway.

Officials said they poured dirt on the spill in attempt to stop the liquid from pouring into storm drains.

The CHP officials said the roadway was closed until about 3 p.m. for cleaning.
