Christmas Eve murder suspect appeared before jury on Wednesday in Bakersfield

2 men arguing, resulted in shooting

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - A man responsible for a Christmas Eve murder went to trial and his case was presented to jury on Wednesday.

25-year-old Roniele Delouth turned himself into police, the day after he shot 21-year-old Jimmy Pollard in the 1400 block of East California Avenue.

Reports said that the two men were arguing when Delouth pulled out a handgun and shot Pollard in the chest.

Pollard was taken to KMC where he died from his injuries.
