BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Drivers may get a new direct path from California Avenue to Hageman Road.
The Bakersfield City Council will vote tomorrow whether to allocate $3 million to complete the final leg of the Mohawk Road, from Rosedale Highway to Hageman Road.
According to city officials, the project would include two lanes in each direction from Rosedale Highway to Siena Lane.
World Oil has paid the city $1.4 million to help build the road, which includes a bridge over the Calloway Canal.
