BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Construction of the New Blaze Stadium is one step closer to becoming a reality.
A conditional use permit for the stadium, has been approved by the zoning board.
Following a 10-day appeals period, developers can apply for permits to begin preparing the site for construction.
The new stadium will be part of the Bakersfield Commons Project on Coffee Road at Brimhall.
The owners hope to break ground in February.
