BAKERSFIELD - ICE and Homeland security agents arrest a convicted sex offender who they say was at it again.

Agents raided the trailer where the suspect lives along Edison Highway just east of Weedpatch Highway.

Federal agents say 34-year-old Shawnley Dodson was convicted of lewd and lascivious acts with a 9-year-old boy in 2000 and served 11 years.

They say he's been out since March 2011 and has been a registered sex offender with a GPS ankle monitor the whole time.

Homeland Security agents say they were investigating child pornography they discovered on the Internet and traced its origins back to Dodson's email.

Agents say Dodson was possessing and distributing child pornography through his email account.

Dodson is prohibited from owning a computer or being on the Internet. Agents believe he may have been accessing the Internet at a nearby truckstop.

Agents say they don't know if Dodson was manufacturing child porn or if he has any new victims.
