BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Results of an autopsy and laboratory studies in a babies death from October have been released.

On Oct. 8, 2012, officials said they went to the 6300 block of East Brundage Lane regarding an infant not breathing.

Officials said they found 4-month-old Rayleen Victoria Chavez not breathing.

Chavez was taken to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

Laboratory studies determined the cause of death as sudden unexplained infant death with a contributing factor of bed sharing with three people.

The manner of death is still undetermined.
