Coroner: Death was of homicidal violence

Human remains were found in yards in August

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Several months after human remains were found in a yard, the coroner has announced the victim's cause and manner of death.

The Sheriff-Coroner, Donny Youngblood, said in his report that 47-year-old Alphonso John Hyde's cause of death was determined to be a homicidal violence of unknown reasons, after a postmortem forensic exam.  

The coroner also said that the manner is homicide..

Hyde's body remains were found in two yards by local officials in August.
