The coroner's office has identified 42-year-old Lazaro Gonzalez as the victim of a Motel 6 shooting in the early hours of Monday, July 9.
The shooting occurred at the Motel 6 on 1350 Easton Drive and California Avenue. Following the incident, Gonzalez was transported to Kern Medical where he died two days later from from his injuries.
