FRESNO, Calif. - The only case to go to trial in the Crisp & Cole mortgage fraud scheme continues in a Fresno courtroom Tuesday.
The defendant, Julie Farmer, is expected to take the stand.
At noon federal prosecutors are expected to wrap up their case against Julie Farmer, the former operations manager at Crisp & Cole.
The defense is expected to call Farmer to the stand.
Farmer is accused of playing a role in artificially inflating Kern County home prices, so Crisp and the other defendants could illegally skim profits from mortgage lenders.
