CSUB holds open house at Facility for Animal Care and Treatment

Event to take place at Environmental Studies Area

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Want to get up close and personal with a hawk, owl, or even a golden eagle?

Well, you can this weekend.

This Saturday, CSUB is holding an open house at its facility for animal care and treatment, also known as FACT.

It takes place at the environmental studies area from 1 to 4 p.m., and it's absolutely free.

Guided tours of the area, and live demonstrations will be going on, making it a fun day for the entire family.

FACT is a wildlife rescue and conservation project and it's students care for hundreds of injured and orphaned birds.
