Eddie Rivas was arrested last week and held on a parole violation, but charges have official been filed.

Mia Ramirez was identified as the victim found inside the garage near Oswell and Niles.

Court records show Rivas has a previous conviction for assault with a deadly weapon against a police officer.

It's still not clear how Ramirez died or how long her body had been in the garage, but her family told 23ABC that she had just met Rivas the night she remembered.
