BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - The Bakersfield Police Department discovered a deceased body inside an enclosed dumpster at about 12:20 a.m. on Friday.
Officers said they were sent to 9500 Flushing Quail Dr. regarding a deceased body call.
The body, which was identified as 37-year-old Paul Cooper, was discovered inside an enclosed dumpster and appeared to have been there for days according to officials.
There were no obvious signs of trauma or foul play and the identity of the body has not been made available.
Detectives are investigating the situation. Anyone with information can call the BPD at 661-327-7111.
