DELANO, Calif. - A Delano man was found dead from a gunshot wound on Tuesday.
On March 12, at about 10:00 PM, Delano police went to Fremont Street regarding a possible alley shooting.
Officers said they found a victim, later identified as 23-year-old Nestor Alejandro Herrijon Guerrero (also known as Alex Guerrero), of a gunshot wound, while searching the area.
Emergency medical personnel pronounced Guerrero dead from the injury upon arrival.
The motive and circumstances of the shooting are being investigated by Delano Police.
