BAKERSFIELD - Motorists traveling on Stockdale Highway, between Heath Road and Renfro Road, on Wednesday, May 7, 2014, should anticipate having to stop for up to five minutes. The contractor for the Westside Parkway will be placing additional concrete barrier rail along the north side of the roadway, and crews will be conducting traffic control as needed with the use of flagging personnel between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
Motorists are reminded to obey flagging personnel and construction signs and to pay close attention to road construction vehicles and personnel while driving through this area.
The Thomas Roads Improvement Program apologizes for any inconvenience this work may cause the traveling public. For additional information on the Westside Parkway Project, please visit our website at www.BakersfieldFreeways.us.
