Deputies arrest 8 people in Mojave and Boron after serving two narcotics search warrants

BORON, Calif. - During the past week, deputies from the Kern County Sheriff's Office Mojave and Boron substations executed two search warrants and arrested eight people in the Boron area that deputies said were involved in illegal drug activity.

On August 15, a search warrant was served on a residence in the 26000 block of Prospect Street in Boron. 

Deputies said they arrested 34-year-old Kimberly Rush for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, destruction of evidence, and possession of drug paraphernalia.  

On August 22, a search was served on a residence in 27000 block of Nudgent Street in Boron. Deputies arrested 35-year-old Dana Maclean for possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance for sale, and bringing a controlled substance into a jail facility.

Deputies arrested 68-year-old John Riddle for possession of a controlled substance and possession of an illegal weapon.

Steven Maclean, 29, was arrested for being a convicted felon in possession of ammunition. 

Robert Haynes, 44, was arrested for being in possession of a controlled substance and being under the influence of a controlled substance. 

Deputies also arrested 45-year-old Shannon Massey for being under the influence of a controlled substance and being in possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Jean La Fon, 44, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. 

Steven Haynes, 45, was arrested for being under the influence of a controlled substance. 

All of the above subjects were booked into the Mojave Jail.
