A search warrant shows that Derek Connell, a suspect in the murder of his parents, Christopher and Kim Higginbotham, sent pictures of their dead bodies to a relative.

The warrant shows that the 29-year-old Connell used Facetime to contact a relative outside of the country and told the relative that he had arrived home and found his parents were dead.

The relative said that the bodies were in pools of blood.

The warrant also shows that Connell said his parents were inside the residence "Shot" when police detained him.

Police found bottles of bleach in Connell's car. There was also bleach on Christopher Higginbotham's body and on the floor around him.

The search warrant shows that 14 guns were found in the residence.

The district attorney's office told 23ABC that the death penalty is a possibility for Connell, but it is too early to determine if that is what he will face.
