On Feb. 14, detectives with the Kern County Sheriff’s Office said they conducted a registered sex offender compliance check in the Rosedale and Oildale areas.

Detectives said they tried contacting 61 registered sex offenders during the compliance check. 

According to officials, one arrest was made during the check, 48 individuals were found to be in compliance with their court ordered terms and three individuals were found to be out of compliance.

Detectives said they were unable to make contact with nine other individuals.
