OILDALE, Calif. - Officers are investigating the death of an infant in Oildale on Sunday.
On Jan. 20, at about 11:30 a.m., deputies went to an apartment on Roberts Ln. regarding a one-month-old boy, Julian Hernandez, not breathing.
Hernandez was taken to Bakersfield Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
Detectives responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
An autopsy was performed and the results are pending further investigation.
