BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Local DUI Attorney Mark Madrigali could officially be charged with murder one month after allegedly shooting his wife, Trivia Madrigali, in the chest.
The District Attorney announced Friday they would increase the charges from attempted murder to murder after Madrigali's wife died from her injuries last week.
The coroner has ruled her death a homicide.
Also increasing is the amount it will cost Madrigali to bail out; The DA wants to raise the bail to $2 million dollars.
Trivia was shot inside their Northeast Bakersfield home June 12th following a reportedly loud argument.
If the new charges are filed, the case will start completely over.
