Bakersfield contest brings out all area dogs

BAKERSFIELD - A little pup named Scribbles, walked away a champion. He was one of the many four legged friends who participated in the Dog Halloween Costume Contest.
Their owners dressed them up and paraded them in front of the judges who then decided who was top dog. It was all part of an event for pet owners. There was also adoptions, vaccines and free microchips for licensed pets.
Organizers say the event was all about being good to our animals. This was the 10 th year of the event.
