The presumptive presidential nominee of the Republican party was in Fresno on Friday, and thousands came out to see him.

Donald Trump took to the podium just after 10:30 a.m. in front of a large crowd at Selland Arena in downtown Fresno. The rally was his first in California since gaining the delegates needed to be considered the presumptive nominee.

Supporters described the atmosphere as "exhilarating" and "wonderful." After meeting with local farmers Friday morning, Trump made it a point to talk about the Central Valley's water problem.

"If I win, believe me, we're gonna start opening up the water so that your farmers can survive, so that your job market can get better," Trump said.

"My environmental standard is very simple and I've said it to everybody: I want clean air and clean water."

Although there were only a few protestors inside, others lined a nearby intersection and blocked traffic. Two people were arrested after they refused to move.
