BAKERSFIELD, Calif. - Four people were arrested Tuesday afternoon following a shooting.
At about 3:45 p.m., Bakersfield Police Department officers were sent to the area of Fourth Street and Union Avenue regarding a shooting.
Officers said that a shooting took place at Monterey Avenue and Gage Street and then a second shooting took place at Fourth Street and Union Avenue.
Officers said that an argument broke out in the middle of the street and the shooting occurred.
The chase lasted for about 10 minutes until police were able to stop the suspects.
Authorities said that two other vehicles were hit during the chase.
Deon Hodge, 20, Derrick Welch, 20, Delwuan Scott, 19 and Xzayvia Peterson, 18 were all arrested for attempted homicide, participation in a criminal street gang and conspiracy.
In addition, the driver of the suspect vehicle, Hodge, was charged with hit and run and driving on a suspended or revoked license.
They were all booked into the Kern County Jail.
No injuries were reported, but a Toyota Corolla was found with multiple bullet holes along Gage Street.
